    This report presents some information found out after solving the Webquest about:
    -Oxford Street
    -“Madame Tussaud’s” Wax Museum
    -“Sherlock Holmes” Museum
    The quest is about London’s “pearls”. The locations are around the Regent Park(except Oxford Street).
    The first location is the Oxford Street. The Oxford Street is a famous street in London with many shops and their personal intersection. And if you want to get more about all about them, check their site. Ok, if you want to get there, just watch out for Marble Arch, Oxford Circus , Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street tube stations.
    Let’s see a museum, learn history..... Ah, a wax museum. The Madame Tussaud’s. About it? The history says that she was born in Strasbourg, in 1761. You can find this wonderful place on Marylebone Road. If you want more details, look for Queen Mary’s Gardens in Regents Park. If you want a fast ride, buy a ticket for the tube “Baker Street”!
    The last one...”SHERLOCK HOLMES” museum. It’s a museum based on the famous stories of Sherlock Holmes’s. If you want to visit it, be ready from 9.30 am to 6 pm. Don’t try on Christmas Day. The prices ar..well..for children 4 pounds and adults 6 pounds. Having problems finding it? Go to 221 b Baker Street London NW1 6XE or this way: It's not far from Madame Tussaud's and it’s near the Marylebone station. Sherlock Holmes is not a real detective. He was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Wait, don’t forget about his friend, Dr. Watson. His house, was a lounge from 1881 to 1904. Wait,I forgot about this. He was born on 6th January 1854. His famous adventures:
    -The Hound of the Baskervilles
    -A study in Scarlet
    -The Sign of Four
    -The Valley of Fear

  2. In this raport ,you can find informations about London,a beautful place with many beautiful places like:"Oxford Street,a wax museum:Madame Tussaud's and a museum :Sherlock Holmes".
    The first is Oxford Stret.It's a famous street in London with many shops and it is very easy to get there.There are five underground stations:"Marble Arch,Oxford Street,Piccadilly Circus,Tottenham Court Road and Bond Street".
    If you want to know history go at "Madame Tussaud's" a wax museum.What about Madame Tussaud's?She was born in Strasbourg in 1761.
    The wax museum is located on Marylebone Road,near Queen Mary's Gardens in Regents Park.You can buy a ticket from the tube "Baker Street".
    "Sherlock Holmes" is the last one.It's a museum!This place opens at 9:30 am and closes at 6:00 pm,but it isn't open on Christmas Day.The price:four pounds for children and for adults six pounds.If you want to get there,it's adress is:221b Baker Street London NW16XE,not far from Madame Tussaud's,near the River Thomas.
    What about Sherlock Holmes?He isn't a real detective,he was created by Sir Arthur Canan Doyle,and he lived in his house with his friend,Dr Watson.
    He lived in the house from 1881 to 1904,and he was born on 6th January 1845.
    A famous Sherlock Holmes story is:"A study in Scarlet".

    Oxford Street is a famous street in London with a lot of shops and , fortunately, it is very easy to get there. There are five underground stations : Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Picadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Bond Street. Oxford Street crosses Regent Street.

    Madame Tussaud's is a wax museum located in Marylebone Road, just near Queen Mary's Garden, in Regent's Park. The Tube station to go there is Baker Street.
    Madame Tussaud's was born in 1761, Strasbourg. She created her first wax figure of Voltaire in 1777.

    The Sherlock Holmes Museum is located near Marylebone Station, but not far from Madame Tussaud's. Its address is 221b Baker Street London NW16XE.
    It opens at 9.30 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. It isn't open on Christmas Day. To visit it a child
    must pay £4 and an adult must pay £6.
    Sherlock Holmes is not a real detective. He was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A famous Sherlock Holmes story is "The Hound of the Baskervilles".
    Sherlock was born on 6th January 1854.
    The story says he lived in this house with his friend, Dr. Watson from 1881 to 1904.

    In our opinion, London is the most interesting and fabulous city in the world. Oxford Street, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and Sherlock Holmes Museum are only three big monuments from Lodon's list.

    London is the capital of England and is a leading global city with its strengths in the arts, education and fashion.
    At webquest we detect that is appere three tourist objectives: Oxford Street, Madame Tussaud ‘s and Sherlok Holmes Museum. It's very beautiful !
    Oxford Street is home to major department stores and numerous brands' flagship stores, as well as hundreds of smaller shops. Oxford Street is a major thoroughfare in the city of Westminster in London. There are 548 shops in Oxford Street, it is Europe’s busiest shopping street. It’s wonderful!
    Madame Tussaud’s is the most famous wax museum in the world. The wax museum is locate on Marylebone Road,near Queen Mary's Gardens in Regents Park. It houses life – size wax statues of Queen Elizabeth II , Prince Charles, Lady Diana. You can also find figures of famous Hollywood actors and actresses, footballers, world leaders , tennis players, rock and pop stars. Very nice !
    Sherlock Holmes Museum is a popular privately-run museum , opened in 1990, in London, dedicate to the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. The museum is opens at 9:30 am and closes at 6:00 pm, but it isn't open on Christmas Day and the price is this : four pounds for children and six pounds for adults. Look the adress 221b Baker Street London NW16XE. It’s interesting!
    London, famous for its diversity and rights, is the most visited place in the UK.

  5. London architecture is interesting in building strong. In London primary attractions is London Eye. The first is Oxford street it’s a famous street in London with many shops and it is very easy to get there.     In the webquest we found out about three of the most famous turistic places in London:
    -Oxford Street
    -Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum
    -Sherlock Holmes Museum

    Oxford Street is one and a half miles end to end. Most shops open 10am until 6 or 7pm. Some open Sunday 12 to 6pm with late nights on Thursday. Oxford Street is best known for Selfridges and the other big department stores which are all found in the section from Marble Arch to Oxford Circus, along with most of the big-name multinationals.(source-REFERATE.RO)All along the Oxford street are 548 shops.The fastest ways to get there are by subway stations.These are:Marble Arch, Oxford Circus , Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street tube stations.
    Now let's see Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.As you know she was born in Strasbourg in 1761.The wax museum it's near Queen Mary's Gardens in Regents Park, on Marylebone Road.Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying waxworks of historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and famous murderers.(source-WIKIPEDIA)

    And finaly let's meet the most famous detective Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock Holmes Museum.This museum is the most popular museum in london,opene in 1990, showing the life of Sherlock Holmes.He is an imaginary person created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.The museum is located not far from Madame Tussaud's wax museum and near Marylebone Road.The adress is: 221b Baker Street London NW16XE.The price to enter in the museum is £4 for children and £6 for adults.Sherlock Holmes was a detecyive who solved a lot of mysterys with his partener Dr.Watson.His most famous adveture is "The Hound of the Baskervilles".

    As you can see you must visit London because you have a lot of things to see!
