  2. It starts with a normal day and then becomes the worst day ever.
When I woke up in the morning, I was full of beans and I didn’t know what to do, but the idea came fast. I called a friend and asked her if she wants to come at the cinema with me, but she told me that she is going to do something else. I was like: “Spill the beans!” and she told me that she has been a bad egg and her mom told her to stay in her room during the weekend.
The cinema was compromised, but I didn’t put all of my eggs in one basket, so I used plan B, shopping. Even if this is not my cup of tea, my parents need a present for their anniversary, witch is very close.
I went to the shop and entered it, saw the perfect present and took it. When I wanted to leave the shop, a man came and said: “You must pay for it, lady!” when I was looking for the money, I realized that I’ve got egg on my face, I have forgotten my money and now I haven’t got a bean…the man said: “If you have no money, you can work at the shop”. I wouldn’t do it for all the tea in China. I decided to give the present back, it was as good as a chocolate teapot, and then leave that shop…!

  4. Long time ago, when the computers were at the beggining, a child who was full of beans bought one with the dream that he will be the best IT specialist ever.
After 20 years he hadn't got a bean. A bit after, a collector came to him and said that his computer is "ancient" and he'll give 200.000$ for it.
First, the boy said that he won't do it for all the tea in China, but because he was out of money, he put his eggs in one basket and the computer was as good as a chocolate tea pot, he accepted.
In the end the boy became rich, he made his own bussiness and the computer was donated to a museum.

  7. I like these idioms and I think are very useful. when i don't want to do something I use "I wouldn't do it for all the tea in China" and when someone don't have a second plan and his only plan breakdown I say to "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket". If someone is naughty or is disturbind "He's a bad egg" and when I'm not good at something "It's not my cup of tea". Sometimes i don't have any money so I haven't got any bean and when school is over I'm full of beans. So i think these idioms are useful

  9. Calina's comment -funny ; great context
Malina's -a little too short , but all right
Georgi- great and developed context ; pay attention to tenses, anyway!!!
Raluca -uninspired context ; unclear situation ; grammar mistakes : (
Cosmin - more idioms should have been used
Adina -grammar rules are not your cup of tea
Mihnea -good try but not enough idioms
Calin -look at the other examples of well-chosen contexts; you have NOT created contexts except for the end
Mario-not enough idioms and grammar ...is missing

"I" should be written with capital letter all the time !
Remind me to talk about indirect speech again with you !!!
